A custom backcountry rifle built for the hunt
The Custom Backcountry Rifle Build is the Windage Weaponry platform for hunters who cover ground on foot. Weight matters on a long day in steep country, so this build offers titanium and skeletonized action options, carbon barrels and lightweight XLR or MDT components alongside proven traditional hunting stocks.
Choose a build level, then select the action, barrel, stock or chassis, bottom metal where required, magazine and trigger. The estimated total updates as you go. When the configuration looks right, request a quote and our Gypsum, Colorado shop will confirm current component pricing before any work begins.

How estimates and quotes work
Your estimate is the $1,000 base build fee plus the components and add-ons you select. Component prices change often, so the configurator total is an estimate rather than a final price. Submit a quote request with your caliber and build notes, and we will follow up by email or phone to confirm current pricing, availability and the details that matter for your rifle, such as barrel length, contour, twist rate and right- or left-hand configuration.
Completed rifles are transferred through a licensed dealer in accordance with federal, state and local law.
